Hollywood Great Actor Alex Rocco dies aged 79

Hollywood great was most known for his major role as mobster Moe Green  in The Godfather and Las Vegas casino owner and also for his famous  known as the voice of Itchy & Scratchy Studio boss Roger Myers Jr.. .


It was reported that Rocco died Saturday, through his daughter, Jennifer,  Facebook account.

“For those of us lucky enough to get to know Rocco, we were blessed,” Morgan said. “He gave the best advice, told the best and dirtiest jokes and was the first to give you a hug and kiss when it was needed. To know Roc was to love Roc. He will be missed greatly. There is a little less magic in the world today. Rest in peace, ‘Pops.’ Love and miss you madly.".

Rocco, studied acting with the late Leonard Nimoy and won an emmy in 1990 for his supporting role in famous Teddy Z as Al Floss.

Rocco most recently was one of the stars of the Starz cable channel's crime-drama series, Magic City, also was scheduled to star as Mr. Marino in the Horror thriller film 'The Other'

Rocco died on July 18, 2015 of cancer in Studio City, Los Angeles
