I didn’t give Yvonne Nelson Gh¢5000 - John Boadu
John Boadu - National Organizer of NPP
John Boadu, National Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has asked Baah Acheamfour to provide evidence which shows that he gave actress Yvonne Nelson Gh¢5000 ‘or else….’.
Save NPP Now, a pressure group alleged that John Boadu took GH¢5000 from the party’s coffers for actress Yvonne Nelson to support her #Dumsormuststop vigil.

Baah Acheamfour, spokesperson for the group suspects that John Boadu did not give the money to Yvonne Nelson even though he included it in the party’s budgetary allocation.
But speaking on Friday’s edition of ‘Kokrokoo’, John Boadu said: “If he has a document to that effect, he should put it out and if he does not then I will know what to do…I never collected any money for Yvonne Nelson… I don’t even know Yvonne Nelson to give her GH¢5000 from the party’s coffers...”
However Yvonne Nelson has denied being supported by the political party in her campaign. She has threatened to sue and compel those spreading such false rumours to substantiate their claims.
Actress Yvonne Nelson has debunked reports she took money from
the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to organise the Dumsor vigil.
“For those who wake up everyday writing and saying dumb stories. Be warned! One of you will be sued one of these days. Stupid 5K story,” an angry Yvonne Nelson said. “Various parties need to get their act together. What my team and I did, was for GHANA! You wanna spread fake pathetic stories, good luck,” she further stressed.
