Evans closing in on £7m Toffees switch

Jonny Evans is moving closer to a £7million move from Manchester United to Everton.
United and Everton are said to be close to finalising a deal that will see the defender move to Goodison Park.
As revealed by MirrorSport on May 19, Everton boss Roberto Martinez targeted Evans to bolster his defence.

United want £10m for Evans, but with only a year left on his contract, they are likely to have to reach a compromise on that figure.
Evans, 27, endured a tough time under Louis van Gaal last season, with injuries and a six-match ban for spitting blighting his campaign.

Schweinsteiger: I want titles at United
