Missing Boy |
Despite a thorough search of the area, there's been no sign of 2-year-old Deorr Kunz Jr. for nearly five days. But his parents are still holding out hope that they'll see him again.
"We will find him one way or another," Deorr Kunz Sr., the boy's father, said at a prayer vigil Monday night, East Idaho Newsreports. "We will find him no matter what it takes."
The tyke disappeared after his parents went exploring around the campsite. They thought his grandfather was watching him, while the grandpa believed Deorr was with his parents.
"There's not much to be said other than one small mistake as a parent – leaving him with an adult that turns his head for a minute," Kunz Sr. said.
He added: "Please cherish and love each other because it could be changed in just a split second."
While he spoke, Deorr's mother Jessica Mitchell distributed photographs of the 2-year-old to the hundreds who gathered for the vigil, urging them to share it on social media.
"I will find him if it's the last thing I do," Kunz Sr. vowed.
