Two Men at Detox Center were allegedly shot by an employee of Wyoming City Parks. The sad incidence occurred over the weekend.
One was killed and the other one is in critical condition. 32 year old Roy Clyde said he was tired of cleaning up after homeless people use vicinity.
He is charged with first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder for shooting two men who were lying in their beds at the Center of Hope detox facility in Riverton, Wyoming, the Associated Press reports.
Resentment over the homeless precipitated the shootings, there was no evidence either of the men, or anyone at the facility, was actually homeless.
Clyde had been employed with the City of Riverton for 13 years. He allegedly confessed to the shootings on Saturday night, telling investigators that "he had been considering killing people he referred to as 'park rangers,' " Riverton Police Department Detective Scott Peters wrote in an affidavit filed to support the charges.
