There's a s3x market in Calabar that is filled with ladies from Cameroun
Vanguard newspaper recently released an investigatory report on Calabar and here are highlights form it.
Calabar, Cross River State capital, is famous as the home of bevy and succulent women. The bulk of these women are girls from tertiary educational institutions in the city. Teenage secondary school girls along with their city colleagues who are also attractive make the population of women in the city burst at the seam. To keep body and soul together, many of them resort to “hustling”, a nomenclature for part-time prostitution prevalent in the city.

A BRITISH terrorist who helped set up an Islamist training camp in the US has been jailed.
A BRITISH terrorist who helped set up an Islamist training camp in the US has been jailed today at a court in New York.
In 2013, the European Court of Human Rights blocked his extradition because of his mental condition.
But after assurances from the US that Aswat would receive adequate care, London's High Court approved the extradition and he arrived in the country in October 2014.
Prosecutors say Aswat, a British citizen of Indian descent, and another man, Oussama Kassir, went to Oregon 16 years ago at the request of radical cleric Abu Hamza al-Masri to set up the camp in a town called Bly.
Aswat's intended role was to provide religious training at the camp, which prosecutors say was set up to support al-Qaeda and had the "terrifying objective" of training Muslim men to fight in Afghanistan.
Abu Hamza with Aswat at a press conference in 1999
At the time of his plea earlier this year, Aswat said he had suffered from symptoms of schizophrenia for the last 20 years and was being treated.
Aswat, who is originally from West Yorkshire, is believed to have been in close contact with the four suicide bombers in the days before the London terror attacks on three Tube trains and a bus.
He was also an associate of the infamous British extremist Abu Hamza.
The one-eyed, handless Abu Hamza was convicted at trial in May 2014 by US District Judge Katherine Forrest, who will also sentence Aswat and in January handed Abu Hamza a life term.
In court filings, lawyers for Aswat said a prison term of 12-and-a-half years would be appropriate, saying he was a gentle man who never condoned violence.
But prosecutors have asked for the maximum sentence of 20 years, calling him a "loyal and devoted follower" of Abu Hamza.
Aswat's lawyers have also said they hope he receives credit for time he has spent in custody since his arrest in Zambia in 2005 and deportation to Britain.

Bride got black eyes on wedding day after drunk niece attacked her 'like a lunatic'
Leissa, aged 49, was wearing her white wedding dress when she tried to break up the family row involving her drunken niece Shileen Cotter.
When bride Leissa threatened to call police Cotter, 22, punched and pulled her hair, ripped her wedding dress and smashed her head into a wooden door.
But Cotter escaped jail after she admitted the wedding night attack.
Furious mum-of-seven Leissa said: "It was my wedding day and should have been a day filled with beautiful memories but Shileen ruined it completely for us.
"I was in my wedding dress and Shileen just lunged at me like a lunatic. Someone had to pull her off me. My wedding dress was ripped to bits and I had two black eyes, a big egg lump and horrible cuts all down my face. "The day after my wedding I had to go to the police station to have shots taken of my injuries before we went on our mini honeymoon. It was not the start to married life I'd imagined.
It is appalling that Shileen did not go to jail for what she did. To think she is still walking around freely when she attacked me so savagely and ruined the best day of my life too is outrageous."
A court heard how Cotter started "making trouble" at the wedding reception in a social club in Mountain Ash, South Wales, at 10.30pm.
Prosecutor Huw David said: "She had drunk vodka and 12 pints of cider before getting involved in an argument with various members of the family. She began smashing bottles on a wall. The bride decided to speak to Cotter after the latest row left her own daughter in tears at the wedding venue.
Cotter was arguing with a group of youngsters, shouting and screaming at them. Mrs Williams told her to 'wise up'. The defendant grabbed a piece of the bride's hair and slammed the complainant's head into a heavy wooden door at the Nixon's club."
The door flew opened and the pair fell out onto the street where Cotter continued to lash out at the bride who was left with cuts and bruises on her head, face and body.
The fracas was witnessed by a teenage girl standing outside eating a kebab.
Cotter shouted at the girl: "What are you staring at? Mr David said: "Without warning Cotter swung a punch and hit the girl in the mouth but because she was holding her kebab she was unable to protect herself from the blow. She said that she would take the fork out of the kebab and stab the girl in the eye with it."
Cotter, of Pentrebach, Merthyr Tydfil, was given a 16-week suspended jail sentence, 200 hours unpaid community work and ordered to pay her two victims £300 compensation after she admitted two assault charges.
She was also given a restraining order not to contact them.
Koscielny Ruled Out Of Manchester Utd Match
Arsenal defender, Laurent Koscielny, will miss Sunday’s match with Manchester United, due to injury. The defender limped off during Tuesday’s 3-2 defeat to Olympiakos, after suffering a hamstring problem.
Arsenal Manager, Arsene Wenger, has now confirmed that he is facing around three weeks on the sidelines, ruling him out of this weekend’s clash at the Emirates.
Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Flamini will also miss out against United, but Francis Coquelin is expected to be fit.
This will come as a big blow to Arsene Wenger ahead of their crunch clash against the 20-time English champions, as the former Lorient defender was building a nice understanding with Gabriel at the heart of the Arsenal back four.
The French manager is keen to see the new partnership blossoming, as he views the duo as the future of the Gunners’ central defence.
Per Mertesacker will replace the injured Koscielny, and the former German international has called on the team to respond following their poor performance against Olympiacos in the Champions League on Tuesday (29 September) night.
Jonathan spent N64bn on independence anniversaries –El-Rufai
Kaduna State Governor, Nasir el-Rufai, has hailed President Muhammadu Buhari for budgeting N70m for the Independence Day anniversary.
El-Rufai noted in a Facebook post on Thursday that under former President Goodluck Jonathan, the Federal Government spent billions every year on Independence Day.
He noted that between 2011 and 2014, Jonathan spent over N64bn celebrating Independence Day.
Curiously, in 2010 Jonathan budgeted N10bn for Nigeria’s golden jubilee celebration.
He wrote, “This is the APC/PMB change we voted for. Independence anniversary expenditure for the past five years: 2011 – N13bn; 2012 -N15bn; 2013 – N14bn; 2014 – N22bn; 2015 -N70m
In a separate post titled, ‘Our chance for national rebirth’, el-Rufai urged on the people of Kaduna not to lose hope.
He noted that the nation was not yet where it ought to be but with purposeful leadership, things would get better.
The governor subsequently pardoned some convicted prisoners.
He said, “On this occasion, the Kaduna State government decided to extend mercy to prisoners. Pursuant to Section 212 of the constitution, the prerogative of mercy was exercised in favour of 14 prisoners. The government commuted the death sentences of five convicts, who will now serve prison time. Five prisoners serving sentences of three years and above were released on the basis of good behaviour or time served already. In addition, three prisoners were released on the basis on age while one person was released due to ill health. In doing our duty to show mercy, the government warns that it will not tolerate crime and threats to security.”
He said one of the highpoints of the last 55 years was the 2015 general elections which saw the defeat of his former party, the Peoples Democratic Party, and the victory of the All Progressives Congress which will ensure the needed change.
He thanked Nigerians, specifically the people of Kaduna for voting for change and steering the nation to the path of greatness.
El-Rufai said, “We can celebrate because 2015 is the year that the people of this country decided it was time to begin the rebirth of a nation. Against the most concerted campaign ever mounted by a government to divide the people it was meant to lead, Nigerians refused to be set against one another.
“I pay tribute to the many sacrifices that were made to make the historic elections of this year possible. What the voters of 2015 did was to make democracy a bulwark of patriotism. In other words, the people cast their votes for their country. May we never again be saddled with people who (rated) themselves above the country.”
The former minister said education remained the key to development.
He, therefore, declared a state of emergency in the education sector.
He said, “Education is emancipation! Education is freedom from want and disease! The provision of free basic education in decent schools and with skilled teachers is one of the priorities this government will accomplish in its four-year term. We have spent the past few months planning school repairs, the provision of school furniture and the training of teachers. Today, we move to declare a state of emergency in education. We ask for your support as we begin to implement extraordinary measures in the educational sector.”
